JD Refrigerated Transport is a growing, family-owned refrigerated transport business servicing customers across Southeast Queensland. We're looking for a reliable and experienced HC Driver to join our team transporting refrigerated stock between a production depot and warehouse.

The Role
n
Based out of Murarrie, this is a production depot-to-warehouse shuttle role, ideal for a driver who enjoys consistent work and is confident operating in a busy depot and yard environment.
n
Your day will include:
n
n




Transporting refrigerated stock between the production depot and warehouse
n
Coupling and uncoupling trailers – up to approximately 8 times per shift
n
Positioning trailers safely and accurately at loading and unloading points
n
Safely loading, securing and transporting freight
n
Completing pre-starts and vehicle checks
n
Maintaining cold chain and food safety requirements
n
Completing required paperwork accurately
n
Working closely with warehouse and operations teams
n
Maintaining a high standard of vehicle and equipment care
n
Following all safety, fatigue, Chain of Responsibility and company procedures
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Current HC or MC licence
n
Proven HC driving experience
n
Confidence and experience coupling and uncoupling trailers
n
A strong commitment to safe, incident-free operations
n
Excellent reliability and punctuality
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
The ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy depot/yard environment
n
A professional attitude and strong work ethic
n
Refrigerated transport experience is preferred, but training will be provided to the right person
n
