Centenary Memorial Gardens is one of Brisbane's most picturesque cemetery and crematorium's.The RoleThis is a full time position based in Sumner, QLD **** working with Centenary Memorial Gardens.
As a team member you will play a crucial role in maintaining our rolling hills and manicured gardens.
You will contribute to the daily cemetery operations, improvement of our grounds, by working together witha small team, ensuring a high standard of care and presentation for our community.About the role:Performing general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and weedingExperience in working in a physical outdoor environmentAssisting with the preparation of burial sites,



including digging graves and positioning headstonesProviding excellent customer service to families and visitorsMaintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the cemetery's buildings, roads, and pathwaysAdhering to all health, safety, and environmental protocolsCollaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth running of cemetery operationsWhat we are looking for:Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role or cemetery role;Understanding of safe work procedures;Have a broad range of practical maintenance skills;A willingness to work co-operatively as part of a team which takes pride in its workmanship;Have a Manual Drivers' Licence.
