Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and hands‐on Deliveries & Equipment Installer to join our Hexham team.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in delivering machinery and equipment to customers while ensuring they receive a professional handover and operational induction. You will be the face of our business, representing both Kentan Machinery and Kentan Access & Hire across our service territory.
n
This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, meeting customers and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Coordinate and complete scheduled deliveries of machinery and equipment to customers.
n
Safely transport equipment throughout our operating region.
n
Conduct skilled equipment handovers and operator inductions.
n
Demonstrate safe operation and basic maintenance procedures to customers.
n
Verify delivered equipment against stock and asset records.
n
Assist with equipment loading and unloading.
n
Maintain the presentation,



cleanliness and display of equipment within dealership and hire yards.
n
Assist sales staff by identifying potential customer opportunities encountered in the field.
n
Support yard operations and general site maintenance as required.
n
Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time.
n
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and WHS requirements.
n
Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
n

What We're Looking For
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar delivery, transport, machinery or customer service role.
n
Current HC (Heavy Combination) Driver's Licence.
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
n
High attention to detail and a professional presentation.
n
Reliable, punctual and self‐motivated.
n
n
Desirable Skills
n
n
Experience operating agricultural, construction, access or material handling equipment.
n
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery operation.
n
Forklift licence, crane ticket or other machinery licences advantageous.
n
Knowledge of the geographical area from the Hawkesbury to Taree and west to Mudgee.
n
Experience conducting equipment demonstrations or operator training.
n
