6AM starts for approx 5hrs - Monday to Friday only.Key responsibilitiesCoordinate the daily preparation of hot/chilled/frozen meals, including any special dietary requirements such as texture modified foods, as advised by MOW AdministrationTraining & supervision of all kitchen staff & volunteers including Food Handling Safety and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)Maintain relationships with suppliers & manage stock levelsLiaise with MOW Administration and the relevant local Council department, for any updates and/or improvements to the Food Safety ProgramCompliance to the Food Safety ProgramMenu planning in accordance with the MOW Aged Care RegulationsOrdering of stock as requiredAbout youA qualification and/or experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably catering for Aged Care & Texture modified meals
