Aquatics & Swim School Manager
to lead the operations, programs, people, and customer experience of our aquatic facilities.

About the Role
As Aquatics & Swim School Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the aquatic facilities and swim programs. You will ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations while fostering a positive environment for students, families, staff, and community users.
You will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively with leadership to grow participation, strengthen community connections, and maintain the highest standards of safety and service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop staff across swim school operations, aquatic programs, lifeguarding, and customer service functions.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the aquatic facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Promote community participation and program growth through strong customer service and relationship building.
Manage budgets, financial performance, reporting, bookings, and operational planning.
Ensure compliance with all legislative, workplace health and safety, risk management, and child safeguarding requirements.
Maintain high standards of pool plant operations, facility presentation, and asset management.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, staff, sporting groups, and community stakeholders.
Foster a culture of teamwork,



accountability, continuous improvement.
About You
You are an energetic and people-focused leader who combines solid operational management skills with a passion for aquatic education and community engagement. You enjoy building teams, developing programs, and creating exceptional experiences for children and families.
Ideally, you will bring:
Experience managing an aquatic, swim school, leisure, recreation, or community facility.
Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
Strong operational, organisational, and financial management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Early Learning and school environment.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
Current Swim Teacher and Water Safety qualification.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Pool Plant Operator certification, or willingness to obtain.
Current driver's licence.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
