Empire Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, season and cook food in accordance with recipes and established standards.
Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
Assist in planning and developing menus.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Supervise food preparation and cooking activities.
Train and support apprentices and junior kitchen staff.
Manage stock ordering, stock rotation and inventory control.
Minimise food wastage and maintain cost control measures.
Ensure food is stored correctly in temperature-controlled environments.




Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
Skills and Experience Required
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef.
Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen workplace.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Reliable, professional and self-motivated approach to work.
