Job Description
The Commercial Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of designated commercial premises. The role contributes to creating a safe, pleasant, and well-maintained workplace for employees, clients, and visitors by performing routine and scheduled cleaning tasks.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming across assigned areas
n
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and shared spaces
n
Empty waste bins, replace liners, and ensure proper waste disposal and recycling
n
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as required
n
Use appropriate equipment for floor care, including vacuum or with training completed scrubbing and buffing
n
Deep clean areas as per the schedule or when requested by management
n
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
n




Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues to the supervisor
n
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals
n
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or potential hazards to the Cleaning Supervisor or Site Manager
n
About you
n
Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred
n
Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemical use
n
Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting performance expectations
n
Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions for extended periods
n
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and lift items up to 15 kg
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
n
Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
