About the role Working across a combination of workshop and mobile jobs, you will provide specialist automotive glazing services for heavy commercial vehicles and machinery.Your responsibilities will include:Removing, repairing and replacing windscreens and other glass components on trucks, buses, heavy machinery and commercial vehiclesManaging jobs from assessment through to completionCompleting chip repairs, sealing work and glass replacements to industry standardsAssessing damage and recommending the most appropriate repair or replacement solutionProviding guidance and practical coaching to another team memberDelivering professional service to commercial customersMaintaining accurate job records and documentationKeeping your tools, equipment and vehicle in excellent conditionFollowing all health, safety and environmental requirementsCommunicating effectively with customers, colleagues and branch management This is a specialist role for someone who already has experience fitting and repairing glass on trucks, buses, heavy machinery and other commercial vehicles.You will have the autonomy to manage your work, the support of an experienced operational team and the chance to coach another team member who is developing their heavy commercial glazing capability.




About you This position requires previous heavy commercial automotive glazing experience.To be considered, you will need:Demonstrated experience fitting or repairing glass on heavy commercial vehiclesA current Australian driver's licenceStrong technical and problem-solving skillsHigh standards of safety and workmanshipThe ability to work independently and manage mobile jobsProfessional communication and customer service skillsA willingness to coach and share your knowledge with othersAustralian working rights or the skills and experience required to be considered for employer sponsorshipAutomotive glazing qualifications are a must and a heavy vehicle licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.
