We are excitedly recruiting for a young participant who is in our care. Ipswich Nurses is inviting bubbly health sciences students in:

physiotherapy
n
occupational therapy
n
n
to take up this exciting opportunity to learn a variety of complex skills
n
Qualifications & experience
n
Certificate 3 OR
n
The ideal candidate would have completed their first year of University and preferably completed their first placement.
n
Experience with working with children is preferrable but most importantly is a passion to work and interact with children.
n
Experience in suctioning, PEG feeding, ventilation, tracheostomy, catheter management,



seizure management would be amazing, however we can train you.
n
Knowing how to treat a child like a child. (THIS IS VERY KEY)
n
Tasks & responsibilities
n
Shifts times can be either long (8hrs +) or short (2hrs) We have morning shifts (starting at 6am), afternoons and active overnights.
n
n
Respiratory monitoring
n
ventilation
n
Training provided.
n
n
Payrates are based on the SCHADS Award Social- Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award [MA******]
n
You will be supported by a team of other experienced family, carers and registered nurses.
