The Role
Preparing budgets, forecasts and management reporting.
Analysing financial and operational performance across multiple business units.
Developing financial models, pricing analysis and commercial business cases.
Investigating variances and providing practical insights to management.
Supporting strategic projects and new business opportunities.
Assisting with tender submissions and commercial proposals.
Conducting market and competitor analysis.
Supporting contract and commercial administration.
Partnering with finance, operational and commercial stakeholders.
Attending operational sites, stakeholder meetings and networking events as required.
About You




This position would suit an ambitious accountant looking to build broader commercial experience and take the next step in their career.
Ideally, you will have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business.
Experience in either an Australian accounting firm OR commercial accounting in Australia.
Strong Excel, financial modelling and analytical skills.
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, pricing or commercial analysis
CA/CPA qualification or studies will be advantageous but are not essential
ERP systems experience, with Pronto exposure highly regarded.
Broad commercial role with exposure beyond traditional accounting.
Work directly with senior commercial and operational stakeholders.
Exposure to strategy, business development and commercial decision-making.
