Job Description
With U Dental is seeking an experienced and passionate Dental Assistant to deliver exceptional chairside support in this full-time position based in Hawthorn East, right by Camberwell Junction.

Duties & responsibilities:
n
n
Provide high-level chairside assistance during surgical, implant, and cosmetic procedures
n
Prepare the surgery for patients, including setting up instruments and materials specific to each procedure
n
Organise and maintain implant componentry including abutments, healing caps, screws, and drivers
n
Ensure correct components are selected and ready ahead of implant appointments, and liaise with implant reps for returns
n
Clean, sterilise, and package instruments in line with infection control protocols, maintaining accurate logs and equipment checks
n
Greet and settle patients, managing anxiety where needed, and deliver pre & post-op care instructions
n
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and replenish consumables throughout the day
n
Update patient records and chart during treatment
n

Experience & attributes:
n
n
Minimum of 3 years' dental assisting experience with hands-on surgical exposure
n
Certificate II or above in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential
n
Experience with D4W software is advantageous
n
A proactive and driven approach to the role, and ambitions to move into a senior role.
