HOBAN Recruitment is seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers / Road Workers to join a major civil infrastructure team based in thePort Macquarie, NSW region. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing full-time work with competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to contribute to the maintenance and construction of vital road infrastructure across the Mid North Coast region.
n This assignment is available for an immediate start and is expected to continue through to 19 December ****, subject to operational requirements.

$***** per hour + 12% superannuation

Full-time hours: 38 hours per week
n
Monday to Friday roster
n
Overtime available, with up to 2 additional hours per day likely
n
9-day fortnight roster with an ADO (Accrued Day Off)

About the Role
n
As a Labourer / Road Worker,



you will perform a variety of physical and hands-on tasks assisting with road construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support skilled tradespeople, plant operators, and truck drivers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
n Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Road maintenance and construction activities
n
General labouring duties on civil works sites
n
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
n
Assisting plant operators, truck drivers, and trades personnel
n
Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
n
Site preparation and clean-up activities
n
Following traffic management and safety procedures
n
Working safely in and around live traffic environments
n
n
Mandatory Requirements
n
To be considered, you must have:
n
n
Construction White Card
n
Workers on Foot (WOF) Ticket
n
Current Driver Licence
n
Previous construction or civil labouring experience
n
n
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
n
Highly regarded but not essential:
n
n
Implement Traffic Control Plans Ticket
n
Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plans Ticket
n
Current MR Truck Licence
n
Plant operating competencies including:n
n
Roller
n
Loader
n
Excavator
n
n
n

n
You are a safety-focused and dependable team player with experience working in construction, civil, or road maintenance environments. You enjoy hands-on work, can follow directions effectively, and are willing to contribute wherever required to support project outcomes.
