Our client is a global fintech transforming how growing businesses access capital.
Since launching in ****, the business has deployed
more than $10 billion in funding globally
, backed by leading financial institutions and operating across Australia, North America and Europe.
With Australia a key growth market, the business is continuing to scale its Sydney sales operation and is now looking for an experienced
BDR Manager to lead a team of eight
.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on sales leadership position with responsibility for one of the most important components of the company's go-to-market engine.
You will lead a high-performing outbound BDR team, developing the people, processes and operating rhythm required to consistently generate quality pipeline.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage purely through dashboards.
We are looking for a genuine
player-coach
who enjoys developing salespeople, understands the craft of outbound prospecting and is comfortable getting into the detail with their team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of eight BDRs
Drive consistent achievement of activity, pipeline and revenue targets
Coach across cold calling, prospecting, messaging, objection handling and qualification
Build a high-performance culture while maintaining strong engagement and retention
Develop BDRs and create clear pathways for progression into future sales roles
Analyse activity and conversion data to identify opportunities for improvement
Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure strong qualification and seamless opportunity handover
Work alongside Sales Enablement to continuously improve onboarding, training and development




Leverage a sophisticated sales technology and enablement stack to improve productivity and performance
Identify opportunities to improve the wider outbound sales process and work with senior leadership to implement them
About You
You will ideally bring:
2+ years of experience leading an SDR or BDR team
A solid track record within a high-activity outbound sales environment
Previous success as an individual contributor before moving into leadership
Demonstrated experience coaching and developing sales talent
Strong cold-calling and outbound prospecting fundamentals
A data-led approach to sales management and performance
The ability to balance accountability with genuine people leadership
Experience within fintech, SaaS, technology or another high-growth environment
Exposure to structured sales methodologies such as Solution Selling and/or MEDDICC would be advantageous
Above all, we are looking for someone who is
hands-on, ambitious and passionate about developing people
