Seeking Trades (Mechanical Trades and Boilermakers) or suitably experienced Trades Assistants located in Orange NSW or the wider Central West NSW region for shutdown and maintenance works at Cadia Valley Operations (CVO) and/or NorthParkes Mines (NPM).
PJl Group is a specialised Underground Hard Rock Maintenance and Asset Supply Company that has been well-established since ****, with its head office located in Orange, NSW.
We are seeking
Trade qualified Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters (preferably with rotating equipment and conveyor experience)
Trade Assistants with a mechanical aptitude to assist with maintenance, repair, replacement and installation activities of mining equipment and structures such as conveyors, chutes, feeders etc
You must be located in Orange or within the wider Central West NSW region to undertake short or longer periods of works (and recurring works) at Cadia Valley Mine site in Orange NSW and/or NorthParkes Mines in Parkes NSW.
PJl is building it casual labour pool and would suit those seeking a secondary income and/or are flexible to fill short or longer periods of works for the approximate dates below (subject to change):

26 October to 31 October ****
7 December to 12 December ****

About You
Australian recognised Trade Qualification (preferred)
Heavy industry or mining experience preferred
Willingness to work surface and underground
Working at heights and confined space ticket within 2 years (or willingness to obtain)
Any other high-risk work licences an advantage
Ability to undertake manual handling of tools, materials, components and equipment to and from work areas
Ability to comply with all site safety requirements, procedures, permits, isolations and PPE requirements.
