Sexual Health Nurse (RN) — Permanent Part-Time, 20 hrs/week | New Grads Welcome

Clinic365 is a telehealth-first sexual health clinic in East Melbourne, caring for patients right across Australia. You'll be working beside Specialist GPs with over a decade of sexual health experience — not in a separate department, not through a supervisor, but at the next desk. You don't need sexual health experience to apply. You need to be curious, unshockable, and good with people.

Key responsibilities
n
Answer phones and patient questions as the clinical voice on the line, reassuring patients and triaging what needs a doctor now versus a booking tomorrow
n
Run the sexual health workflow, ensuring every patient who books gets tested, every test comes back, and every result gets in front of the right doctor
n
Track outstanding pathology, elevate abnormals to the treating GP, and ensure nobody falls through a gap
n
Contact patients to arrange treatment appointments, retesting and reviews, supporting people through results with care and zero judgement
n
Assist GPs with preparing patients and rooms, chaperoning, documenting, and being a second set of hands during consults and procedures
n
Deliver treatment in the clinic under GP supervision — injectable treatments, vaccinations, and assisting with contraceptive device procedures
n
Manage room prep, sterilisation, stock and cold chain
n
Support clinic quality through infection control, accreditation, and helping build the nursing role from the ground up
n
Learn STI testing and treatment pathways, sexual health history taking, risk assessment, PrEP and PEP care pathways, contraception counselling, cervical screening, telehealth clinical workflow,



pathology interpretation, contact tracing, and stigma-sensitive practice

About you
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), or eligible for registration
n
Genuinely non-judgemental — you'll talk about sex, bodies and risk all day, with people who are often anxious about it
n
Warm, steady phone manner; able to make someone feel protected in the first ten seconds
n
Absolute discretion with sensitive health information
n
Organised and thorough — the results-chase work rewards people who don't let things slide
n
Comfortable with clinical software and digital workflows
n
Current National Police Check and immunisation status per Victorian health requirements
n
Right to work in Australia

$***** per hour plus 12% superannuation — Registered Nurse Level 1, Pay Point 1 under the Nurses Award **** (MA******). Higher pay point if you bring prior experience

Fixed hours: 12:00pm–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. No weekends, no nights, no rotating roster. School-hours friendly

All standard NES entitlements pro-rata: paid annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading), personal/carer's leave, public holidays
