Reporting to the Senior Rail Technician, you'll be responsible for full-function automotive spray painting on rail vehicles, components and equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards. This is a casual position offering full time hours with the opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities
n
Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and priming.
n
Mix and apply paints and coatings to specification.
n
Carry out full automotive spray painting from preparation through to finishing.
n
Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.
n
Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with safety standards.
n
Follow all company quality, environmental and safety procedures.
n
About you
n
A current RIW (Rail Industry Worker) Card, or willingness to obtain one.
n
Access to the Rail Corridor accreditation, or willingness to obtain it.
n




Ability to successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
n
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
n
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
