Service Technicianwith mechanical aptitude to join its NDIS accredited business.
The successful candidate will operate from our Broadmeadow location, 5days per week, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 4:30pm) andberequired to use their mechanical ability,interpersonal and problem-solving skills to:
Service, repair and maintain disability, mobility & rehabilitation equipment
Work closely with our clients, service technicians and administration staff to determine work priorities
Deal sensitively, patiently and professionally with our customers

Job Benefits and Perks:
Salary package $70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation depending on experience, use of a company vehicle, tablet and mobile phone

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers' equipment is safe, reliable and fit for purpose. Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnose, service, repair and maintain
mobility,



disability and rehabilitation equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Assemble, deliver and install
equipment safely and efficiently at customer locations
Troubleshoot and fault-find
mechanical, electrical and electronic components
Test equipment
following servicing and repairs to ensure it is operating safely and correctly
Communicate with customers
to understand equipment issues and provide clear, friendly advice
Demonstrate and instruct customers
on the safe and correct use of their equipment
Maintain accurate service records
, including repairs, maintenance and equipment deliveries
Prepare, clean and store equipment
returned to the workshop
Work closely with the service and administration teams
to prioritise jobs and provide an excellent customer experience
Maintain the company vehicle
, ensuring it is clean, safe and appropriately stocked with parts and consumables
Follow company policies, manufacturer requirements and relevant Work Health & Safety procedures
Use company-provided uniform and PPE
as required, including hi-vis, safety footwear, eye protection, masks and gloves
We're looking for someone who:




Has solid mechanical aptitude and enjoys fault finding
Can diagnose problems and work out practical solutions
Is comfortable using hand and power tools
Has experience with mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment
Can work independently without needing constant supervision
Is confident dealing directly with customers
Takes pride in doing a job properly
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated working knowledge and/or previous experience with mechanical and/or electronic equipment
Forklift licence preferred, but not essential
Basic knowledge of MS Office required (on the job training will be provided for customised computer-based systems and apps)
Ability to communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal form to facilitate duties
Highly motivated and organised individual who has the ability to work within a team and independently
A friendly personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client's needs
Able to follow procedures and execute sequenced work instructions either from written and/or verbal communications
Hold a current New South Wales Driver's licence and have an excellent driving record
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses)
Willingness to undergo a National Police check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
