We are currently seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) & Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services.
n
This positionis for SLEEPOVER SHIFTS including every second weekend. You must have full availability for sleepovers to be considered.
n
About the Role
n
In this rewarding role, you will support participants to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and quality of life.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting participants with daily living and independent living skills
n
Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, toileting)
n
Providing mealtime support and medication assistance
n
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date progress notes
n
Overnight support (sleepovers) to ensure participant safety and wellbeing
n
n

A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
n
Flexibility, reliability, and strong organisational skills
n
Availability to work across a rotating roster including both sleepover shifts and alternate weekend work.
n
Confidence engaging with participants in a positive and meaningful way
n
Strong communication skills and clear verbal expression
n
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Confidence using online systems and following procedures
n
Willingness to participate in ongoing training
n
n
Essential Requirements:
n
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current Driver's Licence
n
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
n
Availability to work across a rotating roster including both sleepover shifts and alternate weekend work.
n
Valid Australian working rights
n
n
