Job Description
We are seeking an organised and safety-focused Warehouse Storeperson to support the movement and supply of materials across the business. This is a temporary assignment running through to 31 January ****, offering full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

The role combines hands-on warehouse activities with inventory administration, materials management, contractor induction and the use of systems including SAP and MAXIMO.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Receive, sort, store, issue, move, load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and appropriate material handling equipment.
n
Unpack, count, weigh and sort incoming materials to verify deliveries are accurate and complete.
n
Inspect materials for damage and report damaged goods, overages and shortages.
n
Undertake appropriate loss prevention activities and maintain the security of materials.
n
Maintain accurate computerised stock inventories and ensure materials are organised, secure and readily accessible.
n
Perform general warehouse and stores housekeeping duties and appropriately manage or dispose of waste and packing materials.
n
Pack and dispatch materials, maintenance parts and other items to their required destinations.
n
Examine returned parts, segregate defective items and notify the relevant internal teams for appropriate disposition.
n
Support contractor site inductions,



including assisting with site induction presentations and relevant permits such as Permit to Work and Hot Works permits, in accordance with safety requirements.

About you
n
n
A High School Certificate or equivalent, and/or relevant equivalent experience.
n
Knowledge of warehouse management principles, tools and best practices.
n
Basic warehouse administration and maintaining high service standards.
n
Experience with inbound and outbound material movements across warehouse networks and with suppliers.
n
Experience supporting internal warehouse/stores supply requirements.
n
Coordination skills in the management of materials, plant and equipment.
n
Previous supply chain-related skills and knowledge.
n
Solid time management and organisational skills.
n
Experience or familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.
n
The ability to work collaboratively with frontline employees, internal stakeholders, suppliers and freight providers.

Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day (38 hours per week)

5 days per week on-site
