Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a passionate teacher to join our exceptional team.
Primary or secondary trained. Special education highly considered, but not a deal breaker for us.
NESA registration to teach in NSW. Conditional, provisional, and proficient accreditations welcomed.
An individual who understands trauma, behaviour and mental health needs.
Willingness to teach multiple subjects and outside of your Key Learning Area (KLA).

Teach and deliver lessons to students in a supportive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Prioritise, build,



and maintain healthy connections and relationships with all young people.
Design and develop engaging and innovative curriculum, programs, assessments, and resources for allocated KLAs.
Use Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) strategies when required to manage behaviour.
Collaborate with our Head Teacher, Teachers, Support and Wellbeing Manager, Learning Support Specialist and Student Support Workers to create a safe and supportive environment.
Actively participate in weekly excursions, team meetings and school events.

Essential requirements
Bachelor's degree in teaching (primary or secondary).
Approval to teach in NSW by NESA.
Experience in managing students with mental health and challenging behaviours.
Experience or interest working in non-mainstream education.
Outstanding time management, interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
Start date:
Term 4, **** (preferable) or Term ******.
