We are now looking for an experienced Joinery Drafter to join our team and play an integral role in taking projects from design through to production and installation.
n
About the Role
n
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced drafter who understands the joinery and manufacturing process and enjoys working closely with architects, clients, management and production teams.
n
Microvellum experience is essential, along with solid AutoCAD skills and a solid understanding of cabinetmaking and joinery construction.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Prepare detailed shop drawings for client and project approval.
n
Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, CNC files, routing files and nesting.
n
Liaise with management, architects and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements.
n
Develop drawings detailing dimensions, materials, construction methods and assembly procedures.
n
Coordinate projects through production and work closely with the production team.
n
Prepare material take-offs, breakdowns and ordering requirements.
n




Allocate stock and assist with purchasing requirements.
n
Communicate concepts and drawings clearly to production and installation teams.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience as a Joinery Drafter or in a similar role.
n
Microvellum experience is essential.
n
AutoCAD experience.
n
Strong understanding of
joinery/cabinetmaking
construction and manufacturing.
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
n
Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
n
A professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
Experience in commercial joinery.
n
Experience across drafting, manufacturing and installation.
n
Cabinet Maker, Joiner or Carpenter trade qualification.
n
