The Opportunity
n
We are seeking qualified electricians to join our growing team. As a Solar Electrician at Technaus Solar, you will install, maintain, and commission solar PV and battery systems. This is a full-time role working on projects across the region.

Skills and Responsibilities:
n
n
Conduct site inspections to assess system requirements and feasibility
n
Review drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, and system designs
n
Install PV generation systems including panels, wiring, inverters, and batteries
n
Integrate systems with existing electrical infrastructure
n
Identify layouts, perform continuity checks, and position switchboards and connection points
n
Provide input into wiring diagrams and revisions aligned with project requirements
n
Use appropriate installation, testing, and diagnostic tools
n
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty components
n
Support sales, estimation, and pricing teams when required
n
Test, commission,



and maintain systems in line with QA and QC standards
n
Follow all safety regulations and industry standards
n
Maintain accurate records of all work completed
n

Requirements
n
n
Proven experience in solar and battery system installation and maintenance
n
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
n
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
Ability to work independently and in a team
n
Understanding of supervised work requirements where applicable
n
Strong communication and customer service skills
n
Commitment to safety and compliance
n
Previous experience in a similar role
n
Willingness to travel interstate if required
n
Valid electrical licence and solar accreditation, or eligibility to obtain
n
