Business Systems Analyst - Property & Rating

Help drive digital transformation across Council. In this pivotal role, you'll bridge the gap between technology and business, leading system improvements, optimising critical applications, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance services for our community.

About the role:
n
n
Lead the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of Council's Property and Rating systems and other associated critical business applications.
n
Partner with stakeholders across Council to analyse business needs, improve processes and deliver innovative technology solutions.
n
Assist with managing and delivering complex, organisation-wide technology projects that drive efficiency, business improvement and service excellence.
n
Act as the key liaison between users and software vendors, overseeing system enhancements, upgrades, issue resolution and application performance.
n
Champion change and digital transformation initiatives, supporting the successful adoption of new systems and ways of working.
n
Provide expert advice on business systems, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality and governance.

a base salary ranging from $102,118 per annum with competency-based increments up to $117,528 per annum, plus 12% super

A maximum-term contract up to 36 months, with potential for extension or permanency (subject to performance, funding and operational needs)

70-hour, 9 day fortnight

We are seeking:
n
n
A qualified Information Technology professional with a degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline, or extensive experience supporting and administering enterprise business systems.
n
Strong experience providing technical and business support for corporate applications, with the ability to analyse requirements, resolve issues and drive continuous system improvement.
n
Demonstrated experience in business analysis and information technology within large, complex organisations.
n
Experience in project management, data analysis and reporting, with the ability to develop operational processes, policies and governance frameworks that support business improvement initiatives.
n

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
