Southern Cross Contractors (SCC) continues to grow and is looking for more hard-working, reliable and trusted electrical metering technicians to join our team. SCC is expanding its contractor network and welcomes interest.

The chance
Undertake electrical metering work with support from a team that's approachable and easy to deal with. Tell us about your experience, where you work and when you're available, and we'll discuss suitable opportunities and the requirements to get started.
You'll be paid per completed job at agreed rates, with payments made weekly. Earnings depend on the number and type of jobs completed and the work available.

Include your metering experience and current certificates in your application.
Looking to enter the metering industry?
We welcome interest from licensed electricians considering a move into metering. Before undertaking field work with SCC, you'll need:
UEEEL0078 – Install and commission whole current electricity meters.
Annual refresher training in CPR, working safely near live electrical apparatus, low-voltage rescue, ESI first aid and testing connections to low-voltage electricity networks.
You're welcome to express interest before completing the required training. Tell us about your experience and current qualifications so we can discuss what you'll need to get started.
