This is a full time, permanent position offering a variety of work across commercial and major industrial sites throughout Gladstone and Central Queensland.

The Role
n
As a Portable Fire Technician with ESA Fire, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Inspection, testing and servicing of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire protection equipment
n
Identifying and reporting defects and providing appropriate rectification recommendations
n
Completing accurate service records and documentation
n
Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives
n
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
n
Managing day-to-day servicing requirements across a variety of client sites
n
Assisting with other areas of fire protection where appropriately qualified and licensed
n
n
What You'll Need
n
To be considered for this role, you will need:
n
n
Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
n
Current QBCC licence for Portable Fire Equipment
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Portable Fire Technician or in a similar role
n
Strong knowledge of portable fire equipment and servicing requirements
n
Current Australian manual driver's licence
n
Positive communication and customer service skills
n
Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
n




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A professional attitude and strong commitment to workplace safety
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
The following experience or additional qualifications would be a strong advantage:
n
n
Emergency & Exit Lighting & Non Pumped Fire Hose Reels
n
Experience working on industrial, mining or heavy-industry sites
n
Additional fire protection qualifications and QBCC licence classes
n
n
