About The Role
We're looking for a Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our Technical team at Erskine Park (moving to Penrith later this year), working on the design and certification of precast concrete and steel elements that go straight into real civil projects.
You'll work closely with our Technical Team Leader and across departments, turning engineering concepts into solid, compliant designs — from structural calculations and FEA through to technical drawings and construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and certifying precast concrete and steel elements — including reinforcement design, structural calculations and FEA — while coordinating technical drawings and specs using engineering software.
Working alongside project coordination, customers and contractors to solve engineering challenges and keep projects on track.
Providing technical advice and support across the business, including input on bids, proposals and cost estimates for major projects.

Requirements
Essential:




Australian work rights.
Chartered Engineer, NER registered with Engineers Australia.
Bachelor's degree in civil & structural engineering (or related field).
Minimum 5 years' civil engineering experience, ideally including field experience.
Proven experience designing and certifying steel and precast structures/products.
Experience with Strand engineering software, and solid civil drawing literacy.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
Sharp attention to detail, solid organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under deadline pressure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
Experience in civil and underground services design, particularly stormwater systems.
Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements for water, sewer, stormwater, and utilities.
Solid knowledge of local construction practices and regulatory frameworks.
Experience with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) projects.
