Area Manager
to join our operations team in the Atherton Tablelands region.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, supporting people, solving problems and making a genuine difference in the lives of workers and clients.
About the role
As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a PALM Scheme workforce across the Atherton Tablelands region. You will act as the key link between workers, clients and management while ensuring worker welfare, accommodation standards, transport coordination, operational efficiency and compliance obligations are maintained.



No two days are the same. From conducting welfare visits and accommodation inspections to supporting clients and assisting workers with settling into Australia, this is a hands-on role that combines operational management with meaningful people support.
Key responsibilities
Client Relationship
Manage and support a PALM Scheme workforce across the Atherton Tablelands region
Act as the key link between workers, clients and management
Ensure worker welfare is maintained
Coordinate transport
Maintain operational efficiency
Ensure compliance obligations are maintained
About you
Experience in workforce management, labour hire, agriculture, community support or operations
Passionate about supporting people and building strong client relationships
Enjoys working directly with people
Problem‐solving skills
Ability to support worker wellbeing
Ability to coordinate day‐to‐day workforce operations
