About the role
Join the Levanta' team as a full time Industrial Painter in Heathwood, Queensland. As an experienced industrial painter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our Fabrication facilities delivering high quality products to our customers.
What you'll be doing:
At Levanta we custom make Service Pits for the Heavy Vehicle Truck Industry. Many of these pits are installed in Workshops as part of a full workshop fit out along with Hoists and other specialist lifting equipment.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who wants to get in and take ownership of our paint booth, however we are open to flexible working arrangements such as contract, pert-time or full time. While your skillset is important, cultural fit is a key component of the Levanta business.
10% role - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming
10% - General workshop duties assisting the Fabrication team
Apply industrial-grade paints and coatings to a variety of surfaces and structures (predominantly steel)
Ensure a professional finish by paying close attention to detail
Maintain a safe and tidy work environment ensuring correct storage and handling of paints solvents and chemicals.
Collaborate with the Fabrication,



Projects and wider Levanta teams to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as an industrial painter
Excellent knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
