ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for a
Fully Qualified Diesel Technician
to join our growing
Trucks
dealership in
Wodonga.
Located in beautiful Albury/Wodonga
, Blacklocks
has been operating in the local regionfor over 100 years, and is partnered with the
number one selling truck brand
in Australia for the last 37 years. In addition to
ISUZU,
Blacklocks are also the local sales and service agents for the
IVECO
brand in Albury / Wodonga.In addition we are now the local Sales, Service and Parts agent for
RAM
trucks.
With the expansion of our trucks business over the last 6 years, we are now looking to expand our local service team with the addition of more qualified technicians to work in our state of the art trucks facility based in Wodonga.
Our modern workshop facilities built from the ground up in ****, include a full in ground service pit with a roller brake tester and shaker, fully integrated pump in oil lines and waste oil extraction, portable hoists for flexible serving and repairs and a dedicated training room to assist with technical training and upskilling.
The successful applicants will be responsible for the servicing and repair of heavy vehicles.




We offer the successful applicants secure employment with a leading local company. All our technical staff enjoy excellent working conditions,product training, additional monthly performance bonuses and a remuneration package that is based on experience.
Applicants need to be either a fully qualified diesel mechanic or a light vehicle mechanic looking to upskill. We do offer a petrol to diesel transition program for anyone who currently holds a light vehicle qualification and is looking to upskill.
3rd and 4th year techs are also encouraged to apply.
Additional qualifications that would be welcomed but are not essential include:
ARC license and/or Auto Electrical qualifications would be highly regarded
HR license is preferred but not essential
VIC or NSW Roadworthy certificate would be advantageous
