The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of Human Resources within the Firm. This is a part-time role requiring 2 or 3 days per week in office and would suit an experienced HR Generalist looking to take ownership of the HR function in a small boutique legal environment.

Key responsibilities
n

Working with senior lawyers and business services law firm experts, you will build trust-based client relationships and deliver exceptional human resources solutions
n
Lead and manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding
n




Advise on and manage employee relations matters and performance issues
n
Ensure compliance with employment laws and workplace policies
n
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
n
Support workplace culture
n

About you
n
n
With relevant HR qualifications, you will bring a hands-on approach to HR, with the ability to operate independently and confidently within a professional services environment
n
Proven experience in a generalist HR role across recruitment, employee relations and performance management
n
Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
n
Previous experience in a law firm or professional services setting will be well regarded
n
