We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our client's team and play a key role in the successful day to day operation of our site.
n
This is an exciting prospect for a hands on supervisor who enjoys working with people, coordinating operational activities and building strong relationships with commercial customers.
n
You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, logistics, stock and resources while leading a diverse team of Disability Support Workers to ensure customer requirements are consistently met and work is completed to a high standard.
n
About the Role
n
Working closely with the Site Manager and the operational team, you will oversee the daily workflow and ensure the right people, resources and materials are available to meet customer deadlines.
n
You will be a visible and supportive leader who is comfortable working on the floor, coordinating a diverse workforce and managing competing operational priorities.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Implement and manage staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage and resources are available.
n
Complete customer invoicing and associated administration using Excel.
n
Unload incoming stock, conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
n
Allocate warehouse space and ensure stock is stored efficiently.
n
Allocate work across the workflow and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are achieved.
n
Ensure the required people, equipment, materials and resources are available to complete work efficiently.
n




Coordinate logistics and liaise with commercial customers regarding incoming pallets, work progress and expected completion timelines.
n
Provide regular updates to corporate customers and maintain strong, professional relationships.
n
Manage day-to-day communication with customers to ensure expectations are understood and met.
n
Work closely with the team on the warehouse floor to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Lead, support and motivate a diverse team of Disability Support Workers.
n
Foster a positive, inclusive and respectful workplace where team members feel supported and valued.
n
Manage employees across a broad range of ages, cultural backgrounds and levels of experience.
n
Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
n
Ensure workplace procedures, safety requirements and quality standards are followed.

About You
n
We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, Production Supervisor or Team Leader who is confident managing people and coordinating a busy operational environment.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience supervising or managing a diverse team.
n
Experience working with people from a broad range of ages, cultures and backgrounds.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n




Experience coordinating rosters, workflow and daily operational activities.
n
Previous warehouse, logistics, production or commercial operations experience.
n
Solid customer service and relationship-management skills.
n
Good Excel and general computer skills.
n
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with corporate customers.
n
A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
n
The ability to remain calm, organised and positive in a busy environment.
n
A genuine interest in supporting and developing people.
n
