Coal Augering Services (CAS), established in ****, is Australia's only Open Cut Highwall Auger Mining contractor, who uses unique coal mining equipment to recover coal reserves in surface mines. CAS is seeking Auger Support Crew to work in the Bowen Basin for upcoming projects. Location: Central Qld (Moranbah & Blackwater Districts)
Description of Duties:
Operate Loader in a production environment.
Perform manual duties on the pit floor supporting the Auger.
Participate in scheduled maintenance activities, servicing, breakdowns and machine compliance requirements.
Pre-start equipment inspections, cleaning, greasing & fuelling of equipment.
Roster is
day shift only
7on, 7off.
Accommodation and meals provided whilst on site.




Skills and Experience:
Positive attitude and team player.
Valuable understanding of mine site Compliance and Health & Safety Standards.
Previous production experience and mechanical background is highly regarded.
Wheel Loader essential and Excavator experience with relevant competency highly regarded.
Not essential for now, but Supervisor experience and competencies may lead to future opportunities.
Preferably live local or have the ability to drive in and out to site.
