Field Service Technician - Industrial Shutter, Gate & Automatic Pedestrian Doors

As a Field Service Technician at Victorian Door Automation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and maintenance for our client's automatic industrial and pedestrian doors. Work is based in Melbourne CBD & Metropolitan region however some travel outside this area may be required at times.
n
A minimum of 2 years previous industrial shutter experience is required, applicants without experience will not be considered.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections of automatic pedestrian doors, gates and shutters at client sites
n
Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of door automation systems
n
Provide timely and effective emergency callout services as required
n
Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and identify any additional service requirements
n
Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
n
Support the wider team with installations, project work and other duties as needed
n
Provide afterhours emergency assistance to our key account clients on a rotating team roster
n
What we're looking for
n
Relevant technical experience in electrical,



mechanical or building services
n
Minimum of 2 years' experience within the door automation industry
n
Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
A valid driver's licence
n
Commitment to continuous learning and development
