Job Description
Multisteps is a successful and established food packing manufacture with over 20 years of expertise with a new factory establishing in Queensland North. We are looking for Machine operators to fill vacancies.

Reporting to the Production Manager:
n
Programs production machinery, using knowledge of polymers, additives and other materials
n
Inspects, calibrates and regulates machines, and conducts ongoing basic quality control tests
n
Troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts machines which manufacture plastic products
n
Prepares production and maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
n
Recommends technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality or performance
n
Completes routine quality checks on the product, such as dimensional checks, hardness, clarity of colour and appearances
n
Coordinates production and workflow processes,



and keeps records of operational or production data
n
Consistently ensure all OH&S; and housekeeping procedures are completed
n
Monitor waste and attempt to keep under allowable limits
n
Qualifications
n
Experienced Machine Setter
n
Mechanical aptitude, solve problems and machine troubleshooting
n
Ability to handle high-pressure environment and can work as part of a team and with little supervision
n
Understanding of and commitment to secure work techniques and practices
n
A good understanding of HACCP and Food Safety requirements.
n
Hold a Fork Lift license
n
Display a strong commitment to safety
n
Be self-motivated
n
Have a willingness to learn all aspects of the job
