Business Development Manager – RTO / VET
AdvancED Education & Training (RTO *****) is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing team in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with experience in the VET, RTO, education, corporate training or related sectors to develop new business opportunities and build strong industry partnerships.
Key responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across Queensland
Build and maintain relationships with employers, businesses, education partners, community organisations and industry stakeholders
Develop and manage partnerships with education agents and referral partners
Promote training programs and services to prospective students and businesses
Generate, manage and follow up leads and enquiries
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed business development targets
Identify corporate, employer-based and commercial training opportunities
Identify opportunities within government-funded training programs
Attend networking events, industry meetings, expos and promotional activities
Prepare proposals, quotations and business development reports
About you
Previous experience in business development, sales, account management or partnerships
Experience within an RTO, VET, education or training environment will be highly regarded
Strong ability to generate leads and convert opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organised and results-driven
Professional and confident when dealing with employers, students, agents and industry stakeholders




Good understanding of the Queensland VET and training workplace
Existing industry networks across Queensland will be highly regarded
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel when required
