An opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Property Manager to join a highly regarded and established commercial real estate agency based in Melbourne's south-east.

The business has a strong presence across the commercial and industrial property market, providing a broad range of property services to an established client base of private owners, investors and businesses.

This hands-on position offersautonomy across portfolio management, leasing, negotiations and strategic portfolio matters, backed by an extensive support structure.

The Role
n
You will take responsibility for the management and strategic oversight of a commercial and industrial portfolio, working closely with landlords, tenants and other key stakeholders.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Managing your portfolio with a high level of autonomy
n
Negotiating new leases, renewals and broader lease requirements
n
Managing market rent reviews and detailed lease negotiations
n
Negotiating make goods, surrenders and associated works
n
Undertaking strategic portfolio reviews and identifying opportunities
n
Preparing lease instructions and liaising with solicitors on documentation
n
Conducting property inspections and reporting to landlords
n
Managing minor works as required
n
Attending client meetings and maintaining strong landlord relationships
n
Overseeing and developing an Assistant Property Manager.

A key attraction of the opportunity is the level of support provided to the Property Management team.

Property Managers are supported by an Assistant Property Manager, together with an established Finance Team, Facilities Manager and broader administrative support.
n
This allows you to spend less time on administration and focus on the higher-value aspects of the role,clients, portfolio strategy, leasing and negotiations.

About You
n
You will have solid experience within commercial and/or industrial property management, together with:
n
n
Robust leasing and negotiation skills
n
Sound knowledge of commercial property legislation and leasing practices
n
The ability to manage a portfolio with minimal supervision
n
Strong landlord, tenant and stakeholder management skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
An Estate Agents Licence or Agent's Representative Certificate
n
