About the role
n
Council is seeking a dedicated and reliable Plumber to join our team, ensuring our local infrastructure and public facilities remain in excellent working order.
n
Reporting to the Coordinator Building & Trades Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Perform a wide range of plumbing services across various sites, including maintenance, repairs, and installations in public buildings, parks, and community facilities
n
Respond to plumbing emergencies quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to council services
n
Work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality, timely service delivery
n
Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work carried out and comply with relevant health and safety regulations
n
n
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
n
n
Relevant plumbing qualifications and a current driver's licence
n




Proven experience as a plumber
n
Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance, and repair techniques
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
n
38 hours per week/9 day fortnight
