We are OLÉ Mexican Foods [Australasia], the exclusive marketers & distributors of deliciously authentic La Banderita tortillas for Australasia!
We are a family owned enterprise that operates in the B2B market ~ importing, marketing & selling, distributing & supplying our amazing products to over 700+ Retailers Australia wide.
This role is right for an individual who wants to be part of a team that is looking to grow throughout the Aussie market & loves delicious food! You'll develop an understanding of various types of businesses in the country and an awareness of the food supply chain and the importance of the role that you have in it.
La Banderita is one of America's favourite tortillas, being sold coast to coast across the USA in the best retailers and restaurants, and also distributed to many international markets around the world. Australia is now the largest market for La Banderita outside of the USA.
We are proud that our deliciously authentic La Banderita tortillas have also become Australia's favourite too! And with exciting times ahead for our business we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to join our team!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Based in Brisbane and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the selected candidate's role would support the sales team on day to day admin duties to drive growth and assist in achieving portfolio and company goals.
The position is full time and will be focused on working as an integral part of our team.
The successful candidate will have the prospect to:




Support the customer relationships working alongside the Account Managers to deliver excellent sales results
Assist in developing existing customers in terms of value/growth and conversion of recent business
Aid the Account Managers in their portfolio growth and see first hand the impact of Value Based Selling
Develop a real understanding of the sales cycle and logistic journey nationwide
Operate as a main point of contact for all logistic issues.

In addition to the salary, Bonus is paid bi-annually in February & August based on individual and overall company performance (post-probation)
In addition, a $5,000 increase to your salary will be added once you complete probation.

ABOUT YOU:
Experience in Sales or relevant role such as Retail / Hospitality / Travel with strong customer service focus.
Good understanding of the retail grocery / food service industry or relevant experience in travel or hospitality sector.
Willingness to learn & improve with a positive attitude, to be a self-motivated and "can-do" team member in a solid team environment.
Sales experience including a history of achieving monthly targets – highly regarded but not essential.
Experience with CRM software & MS Office skills (particularly Excel / Google sheets).
