James St Medical is looking for a caring, experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our friendly general practice team.
n
This is a casual position working Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, making it an ideal opportunity for a nurse looking for a consistent two-day working week.

About the role
n
Working alongside our GPs and practice team, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused nursing care and contribute to the smooth running of our clinical services.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Patient triage and clinical assessments
n
Immunisations and injections
n
Wound care and management
n
Chronic disease management and care planning
n
ECGs and pathology collection
n
Assisting GPs with clinical procedures
n
Preventative health and screening
n
Patient recalls and follow-up
n
Infection prevention and control
n
Maintaining clinical equipment, stock and sterilisation processes
n
Providing education, support and reassurance to patients
n
About you
n




We are looking for someone who is:
n
A Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
n
Experienced in, or interested in, general practice nursing
n
Warm, friendly and genuinely patient-focused
n
Professional, reliable and well organised
n
Confident working both independently and as part of a team
n
Committed to providing a high standard of patient care
n
Dedicated to ongoing professional development
n
Requirements
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Experience in General Practice or primary healthcare
n
Current CPR certification
n
Current Skilled Indemnity Insurance
n
Evidence of immunisation status as required by Queensland Health guidelines
n
