The Role
As a commercial electrician at DGE, you will work alongside our team of skilled Electrical Supervisors, Project Managers, and Engineers. Based at various project sites located in SEQ, you will gain hands-on experience and training to develop your skills and knowledge within the electrical industry. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for growth and career development in a supportive environment.
General power and communication installations for commercial projects
Small works, repairs, installations, and service maintenance
Medical electrical projects
Unique upgrades and projects such as building MSB upgrades
Key Responsibilities:




Assist project managers and supervisors with day-to-day construction tasks on various electrical projects.
Support in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, following safety regulations and standards.
Participate in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical issues, developing your problem-solving skills.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Attend weekly training sessions to enhance your technical skills and understanding of electrical systems.
Engage in regular team meetings, providing updates on your progress and contributing to project discussions.
Requirements:
Queensland Electrical License
CPR LVR certificate
Construction white card
Ability to carry out overtime if required
EWP and high risk licenses
