About the role
n
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Forklift Operators to join our Prestons team. As a Forklift Operator, you will ensure trucks are loaded according to paperwork, assist in stock takes and perform other store person's duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Load and unload trucks as they arrive at the depot
n
Ensure loads are checked for mass against load plans
n




Identify and report damaged stock or pallets
n
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
n
Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures within the depot warehouse / freezers
n
General warehouse and yard tasks
n
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Minimum one years' experience operating Tine Forklifts
n
Valuable knowledge of warehousing
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
n

Experience in refrigeration transport and a valid truck license is highly regarded, but not essential
n
n
