Are you ready to step into Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), but want to do it properly,fully supported - we have the role for you!
n
We are adding an additional veterinarian to our roster to specifically support a junior ECC vet who wants structured learning, mentorship, and the time to build confidence safely.
n
Our ECC department is supported byCriticalistsDr Lisa Smart and Dr Sophia Morse, highly experienced ECC clinicians, and an exceptional nursing team.
n
You will also have direct access to medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, cardiology, anaesthesia and more on site, with support from the broader SASH specialist network including neurology and exotics.
n
This is a team-oriented, well-resourced ECC service where high-acuity medicine is practiced with
structure,teamworkand
genuine specialist support.

Shifts are structured in blocks for rest and recovery

Paid, structured one-on-one education sessions with Criticalist Dr Lisa Smart, in-house training,

Genuine access to criticalists and highly experienced ECC vets who love teachin

Access to a newly renovated hospital with in-house CT and MRI
n

We are looking for a veterinarian with:
n
n
Minimum two years' clinical experience post degree
n
Registration with the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW
n
A strong interest in developing their ECC skills
n
A collaborative approach and desire to practice high-quality medicine
n
n
Our department enjoys a stable team with low turnover and we plan our roster with care, aiming to support both individual needs and the wider team.
n Public holidays and weekends are shared in a fair and considerate way, andrecovery time is always protected. Our remuneration reflects the demands of ECC, including shift loading, paid overtime and paid breaks.
