Adept Project Solutions is seeking an experienced Shopfitter or Commercial Carpenter to join our growing delivery team.
n
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working across high-quality retail and commercial fitouts for recognised national brands.
n
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the pace of commercial fitouts and can be relied upon to help deliver projects properly.

ABOUT ADEPT

Adept Project Solutions is a national shopfitting company based in Bayswater. We manage and deliver retail and commercial fitouts across Victoria and interstate.
n
Following the award of several major projects, we are expanding our in-house team and looking for an experienced tradesperson who wants stable, long-term work.
n
ABOUT THE ROLE
n
Your work will include:
n
Installing commercial joinery, fixtures and retail displays
n
Installing doors, hardware, partitions and internal finishes
n
Reading and working from construction and shop drawings
n
Completing site set-outs and measurements
n
Modifying and fitting joinery on site
n
Assisting with shopfronts, walls, ceilings and general fitout works
n
Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades
n
Identifying and resolving installation issues
n




Completing defects and final handover items
n
Maintaining a safe, organised and professional work area
n
Projects are located throughout metropolitan Melbourne, with some regional and interstate work.
n
Commercial fitouts can occasionally require travel, night work or work outside normal trading hours. These requirements will always be discussed as part of the project planning.

ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
Experience in shopfitting, commercial carpentry or joinery installation
n
The ability to read and understand construction drawings
n
Robust practical problem-solving skills
n
High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
n
Your own basic hand tools
n
A current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
A current White Card
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A reliable and professional approach to work
n
Experience supervising other trades or leading a small installation team would be highly regarded.
