Legion Drilling is looking for an experienced ICT Business Analyst to help improve our systems, processes and use of technology across the business.
n
This is a hands‐on role for someone who can understand a business problem, analyse the current process and turn it into a practical technology solution.
n
About the role
n
You will:
n
n
Gather, analyse and document business and ICT requirements.
n
Analyse existing systems, processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
n
Develop functional requirements, process maps, workflows and system specifications.
n
Identify opportunities to automate manual and spreadsheet-based processes and reduce human error.
n
Work with software providers, developers and internal teams to design and implement system solutions.
n
Assist with system integrations, implementation, testing and deployment.
n
Analyse business data and develop reporting and dashboards to support decision‐making.
n
Investigate opportunities to use AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve business processes.
n
Improve system usability and user experience by simplifying workflows and ensuring users receive clear, relevant information.
n
Develop user guides, procedures and training materials.
n
Continuously review systems and processes and recommend improvements.
n

About you
n




We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and understands both business and technology.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Experience as an ICT Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar.
n
Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
n
Strong business process analysis and problem‐solving skills.
n
Experience with system implementation, testing and integrations.
n
An understanding of marketing, customer journeys, business development and commercial performance.
n
The ability to work with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
n
Solid communication and documentation skills.
n
n
Technical skills
n
Experience with the following will be highly regarded:

SQL and databases
n
Excel and data analysis
n
Power BI, Looker or similar
n
Workflow and business process automation
n
AI implementation
n
No-code/low‐code applications
n
Web or mobile applications
n
APIs and system integrations
n
Automated reporting
n
n
We're particularly interested in someone who looks at a process involving multiple spreadsheets, emails or disconnected systems and thinks: "There has to be a better way."
