We have a large pipeline of upcoming projects and are expanding our team. JAC Civil is seeking an experienced MC Operator for a permanent, full-time or casual role. Join a market leader in civil construction, working with major clients such as Fraser Coast Regional Council and HQ Plantations.

About the Role
n
n
Operate and maintain MC-class vehicles including conventional side tipper, water tanker, float, and truck and dog combinations
n
Undertake a range of tasks relating to road works, quarry haulage, bulk earthworks, and site works for various clients across the Fraser Coast
n
Perform daily checks and servicing of vehicles, rectifying any concerns and completing accurate reporting
n
Work both autonomously and as part of a team, supporting project processes and delivering quality outcomes
n
Participate in manual handling or labouring activities during machine downtime or when supporting team members
n
Liaise with supervisors and project teams to align operations with project timelines and safety standards
n
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
n

Key Requirements
n
n
Current MC licence and QLD white card or willingness to obtain (essential)
n
At least 1 years experience operating truck and dog combinations or equivalent heavy vehicle combinations in civil construction or related environments
n
Proven track record in the safe operation of MC vehicles across a range of situations
n
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and care
n
Ability to prioritise, plan, and complete tasks with limited supervision
n
Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
n
Physically fit and willing to participate in manual handling if required
n
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation
n
Willingness to upskill and participate in training
n
Ability to travel locally for site work
