Job Description
Delta Group is seeking a confident and capable construction professional with exceptional project management skills and a thorough understanding of quality, safety and environmental performance excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Civil and structural engineering and project
management.Development
and implementation of project management plans
n
Comply with Delta Group's triple certified QSE management systems
n
Interpretation and interrogation of drawings
n
Knowledge and application of relevant Australian Standards as they apply to piling and foundations, and civil construction
n
Risk assessment and management
n
Project set up – scope, programme, method and budget
n
Sequencing and staging development and approvals
n
Accurate cost tracking and production tracking according to budget
n
Documentation development - specification review and quality assurance
n
Client and key stakeholder engagement. Management of project related subcontractors, suppliers and/or consultants
n
Liaison with Site Supervisor/Foreman
n
Procurement and purchasing, including contract management for all projects
n
Estimate and variation development, including work hours, costs and quantities
n
Planning, progress monitoring and reporting, including audits and/or inspections
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of QSE management systems
n
Relevant construction related qualifications,



including tertiary engineering degrees
n
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
n
Passion for people and their safety
n
Demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written
n
High level decision making and problem-solving skills
n
Previous Geotech (piling and foundations) experience, including piling drill rigs and earthmoving plant and equipment
n
Understanding of piling estimation processes
n
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
n
High level proficiency in most Microsoft Office 365 packages with a robust knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
n
Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and follow up
n

Remuneration package between $80,000 and $100,000 will be offered to the successful applicant.
