The ideal candidate will have a valid White Card,



Traffic Control Tickets and proven experience in traffic control operations.What you will be doing:Perform all tasks associated with traffic management for works or eventsUse of Stop/Slow Bat to control trafficImplement and monitor operational Traffic Management PlansLoad and unload vehicles with equipment and signageComplete size hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the siteReport on site hazards and near missesMonitor traffic behaviour and flow to ensure safety is maintained at all timesControl traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to prevent maintenance workers, work crews and members of the publicWhat we're looking for:Traffic Controller (Blue) CardImplement Traffic Control Plans (Yellow) CardWhite CardDrivers licence and own transportWilling to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screeningAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAs this is a local government position, all applicants must have received a minimum double vaccination for Covid-19 with evidence to be considered
