There are eight (8) retail locations in Southern Tasmania (Glenorchy, Howrah, Rosny, Sorell, City, Moonah, Kingston and Huonville).
This position is required to work in Howrah Op-Shop with the chance to work additional hours in other stores.Reporting to the Retail Coordinator you will:Open and close the retail store and manage the POS systemProvide a positive focus on excellent customer service, and sales outcomesProvide a keen eye for current trends/style, and have the ability to pull all those skills together to create an exciting, vibrant, and on-trend space for customers to shopSupervise and train volunteers,



ensuring they receive proper induction and feel supported and mentoredBring your creative side to life by working with your team to create engaging displays which highlight quality stock and brand recognitionAbout you:Previous retail experience including using a POS and cash handlingManual handling knowledge and ability to lift at least 10kgStrong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customersPrevious supervision or team leader experienceUnderstanding of second-hand/circular economy/ Op Shop industry practicesKnowledge, experience and understanding of volunteer management (desirable)HCM actively promotes diversity and inclusion in recruitment and employment.
