Job Description
We are currently looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our reception team in our busy South Brisbane dermatology clinic on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (subject to change).

responsibilitiesinclude
but are not limited to:

Welcoming patients and visitors to our practice
n
Taking incoming calls
n
Patient arrival check-in and departure
n
Billing of consultations and minor procedures
n
Appointment booking and record management
n
Task and email management
n
Appointment confirmation and ensuring appropriate patient forms are provided
n
Auditing the diary for the week ahead
n
Recalls
n
Liaise with consultants, registrars, external stakeholders and your fellow admin team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
n
Open and close processes
n
Required Qualifications:
n
Experience as a medical receptionist (a medical/clinical background desirable)
n
Xestro medical software experience desirable (full training provided if required)
n
Ability to take direction and work to a checklist
n
Ability to adapt to the dynamic environment of a specialist practice
n
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written,



customer service skills and the ability to prioritise while handling multiple tasks is required.
n
Knowledge of DVA, Medicare and ADF billing (highly desired but not essential)
n
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
Ability to work within a team-focused workplace
n
Exemplary telephone manner
n
A proactive patient-focused attitude
