Job Description
South Coast Tiles is seeking a qualified carpenter to step up into a Foreman / Site Supervisor role running bathroom and home renovation jobs end to end across the Illawarra and Wollongong region.

Key responsibilities
n
Run renovation sites from start to finish, on time and on budget
n
Carry out carpentry works and supervise carpenters and apprentices on site
n
Coordinate subcontractors including tilers, plumbers, electricians, plasterers and waterproofers
n
Set out and program works, order materials and keep jobs moving between trades
n
Liaise directly with clients, keep them informed and manage expectations on site
n
Maintain quality standards, site presentation and a clean, safe work site
n
Complete site documentation, SWMS, inductions and daily reporting
n
Carry out site inspections and handover checks with the Director
n
About you
n
Trade qualified carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
n
Minimum 5 years post-trade experience, with previous leading hand, foreman or supervisor experience
n
White Card and current driver's licence
n
Robust understanding of residential renovation, particularly bathrooms and wet areas
n




Able to read and work from plans, set out accurately and finish to a high standard
n
Good communication skills with clients and trades, and the ability to run a site without being micromanaged
n
Reliable, punctual and takes pride in the finished product
n
Builder's licence or working towards one (desirable)
n
Waterproofing experience or accreditation (desirable)
n
Experience with residential renovation scheduling software (desirable)
